Unfortunately for many caregivers, it is this time of year that can often cause a great deal of anxiety and stress.

As a caregiver, how often do you find yourself worrying about the safety and security of your aging loved one?

For older adults with decreased mobility, the unpredictable winter weather can provide even greater hazards and increase the chance of injury, resulting in unwanted trips to the hospital, broken bones, and sometimes long periods of time in rehabilitation.

At all of our UMH communities, we want to make sure our caregivers and residents can safely manage the hazards that come with winter weather.
