Resident Service Coordinator – Dementia Specialist

United Methodist Homes, an assisted and independent senior living community committed to its mission of providing relationship-centered care is currently seeking an experienced resident service coordinator to lead our initiative to open an innovative quality dementia program to enhance the award winning continuum of care that our Wesley Village campus provides.

Qualified candidates will be responsible for the day-to-day social services needs including planning, organizing and coordinating innovative special needs programs for our assisted living dementia population ensuring that the needs are adequately and appropriately met.  Will act as liaison between residents, their families, staff and community based service providers.  In addition, the ideal candidate will develop a program to support the physical and cognitive needs of the residents with dementia and manage the overall daily functions of the residents.  In addition, responsibilities will include preparing and maintaining written case records including intake, referral, and evaluation of health, psychological and social needs.  Performs case follow up and closing.  The candidate will also be involved with our existing assisted living population.

A B.S. Degree in social work, gerontology, psychology or counseling.  Dementia certification a plus.  Three + years working intimately with Alzheimer’s/dementia, memory care residents/patients and five + years’ experience working with the geriatric population as well as experience supervising staff, volunteers and family members on best practices in interacting with dementia residents.

Foxbridge Assisted Living and Memory Care Community Career Opportunities:

Office AdministratorFoxbridge Assisted Living and Memory Care located in Memphis, TN is seeking an experienced office administrator for its community. The ideal candidate will support the company operations by maintaining human resources and office responsibilities. 

The qualified candidate will be responsible for providing a wide variety of administrative duties for both the human resources and accounting functions which will include administering the time and attendance systems, payroll processing, petty cash, new hire paperwork/ orientation/background checks/ad placement, assist in coordinating training, manage personnel files, administer benefits programs, coordinate unemployment, workers compensation and safety programs.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of employees, residents, family members, visitors, vendors and members of the community with tact and diplomacy. Extensive computer literacy including strong MS office skills. ADP (easy labor manager) payroll a must. Strong problem solving skills required with superior attention to detail as well as 5+ years of office manager experience which includes 1+ years of human resources administration.

Director of Clinical Services

Are you an experienced RN who wants to make a difference in the lives of seniors and the staff who care for them?  If so, this might be the position for you! Foxbridge Assisted Living and Memory Care community is seeking a caring and experienced Director of Clinical Services. This leadership position works closely with the Executive Director and Wellness Director. Responsibilities will include staff development, mentoring and supervision; resident assessment and care planning; CQI and infection control.   Candidates must have experience in managing financial resources as well as a proven background in teambuilding, quality improvement programs, developing policies and procedures, and resident and family engagement. 

Strong problem solving skills are required with superior attention to detail as well as 5+ years of progressive experience including supervisory experience in a long term care setting.  RN and CPR certification is required.  Candidates must be familiar with the Assisted Living Regulations for Tennessee and demonstrate a commitment to a relationship-centered philosophy and the Mission, Vision and Values of Foxbridge.
