Why Consider a 60-Day Trial Stay?

20130724 144329 resized 600It is important that you feel at home in your new senior living home. But how do you know if you're actually going to be comfortable and happy in this new space?

Whether it be our Middlewoods Assisted and Independent Living Community in Farmington or Newington, we have your comfort in mind. We invite you to try out maintenance-free living with our unique 60-day trial stay....with no long term commitment!

Why 60 Days?

Why a 60-day trial stay? Why couldn't you stay for a week or maybe just a few days?

We think 60 days is the perfect amount of time to adapt to a new lifestyle. With the option to try out assisted living for 60 days, residents are free to put our staff, services, and promises to the test! Any community could "put on a good show" for a few days, a week, or even two weeks, but after 60 days, we think you will probably have a very realistic idea of what life is like at one of our communities.

Think about your last vacation......after one week on the cruise ship, you were just getting to know your way around and just beginning to enjoy the excitement of after-dinner shows and regular activities and entertainment. Why just spend a couple of days when you can get a real idea of what life is like with a 60-day stay?

Anything can seem like a great option for just a few days.....why not give yourself the chance to make a thoughtful decision after you experience the “real deal”......get to know the staff, try out the food, go out on a trip.....After 60 days of getting to know your neighbors and learning why they made the choice to move, the thought of living life alone at home can often become, honestly, a little bit lonely.

When renting an apartment for the 60 days, you can live as a resident of the community and enjoy all of the services and amenities that are included in our maintenance-free lifestyle: meals, laundry services, transportation, activities and out-trips, housekeeping and maintenance, wellness checks, and most importantly, safety, security, and meaningful relationships with others.

You would never buy a car without test driving it first.....in the same way, we feel that you deserve a chance to experience our maintenance free lifestyle just as if you were already a resident. We know that finding a home that you feel comfortable in is an even bigger commitment—so, go ahead, try us out first. At the end of the 60 days, you have a pretty good idea of what life is like and can make a well-informed decision about whether or not you think assisted living is right for you!
