The Owner/Operator was under regulatory scrutiny, and were required to retain The Long Hill Company as a qualified operator. All regulatory issues were resolved and the asset was ultimately transferred to successor owner/operator, successfully exiting CareMatrix from deal.

The Challenge

The Long Hill Company was sought as an operator due to a dispute between the Owner and Operator who were under regulatory scrutiny. The properties were converted hotels which struggled to compete with new-build assisted living buildings.

The Long Hill Company stationed its representatives on a full-time basis at the facilities to provide daily leadership and execute a census development plan.  We were able to maintain viability despite physical plant challenges.  We developed a strategic plan with the operator.
