News

middlewoods of newington new directorMiddlewoods of Newington Independent and Assisted Living Community is proud to welcome Stacy Kesl as their new Executive Director. Stacy joined the Middlewoods team in late August. She has worked in assisted living and long term care since 1997 in a variety of capacities, including eight years working with residents and families in an assisted living community.

Stacy is a Connecticut native and now lives in Canton with her husband and two children. Her love of working with older adults took root in college when she volunteered to lead activities in a community where a family friend was residing. She has been warmly welcomed by the Middlewoods of Newington family and looks forward to continuing the strong tradition of award-winning, relationship-centered care and service, which the community is known for.

Middlewoods of Newington is affiliated with the UConn Health Center and is owned and operated by United Methodist Homes (Shelton, CT), a local, mission-based organization, serving all members of the community. For more information about senior living at Middlewoods, visit www.middlewoodsofnewington.org or contact Stacy at 860.667.1336. Stop in for a tour of the community at 2125 Main Street in Newington.
